FIRST DOMINION PROJECT

Convention.cymru will help the people of Wales to find their voice, and to write their own Constitution and Bill of Rights. 

Will the people of Wales vote to approve their Constitution and Bill of Rights, when it is written?

Only a democratic mandate will do. Convention.cymru will use all democratic, lawful and peaceful means to build a binding mandate for a Constitution and Bill of Rights, and to put Wales on the path to its destiny as an independent nation, recognised by all the nations of the world. 

Wales was the First Dominion when Henry VIII made Wales part of England. By the time of the First World War, Dominion Status meant that a country could have Home Rule and be on the road to full independence. The war cost us our chance. 

The First Dominion project will create a mandate for Wales to write its own future using the democratic institutions of Wales. Join us. Help us call, and organise, our Welsh Constitutional Convention.
